    You Showered, You Smiled, You’re Fine — Except You’re Not

    You got up this morning. You made the coffee, you got the baby dressed, you answered the texts. From the outside, everything looks completely fine. And maybe that’s exactly the problem.

    Because on the inside, something feels deeply, quietly wrong — and you can’t quite explain it, even to yourself. You’re not having a breakdown. You’re not unable to function. You’re just… off. Hollow in a way that’s hard to put words to. Going through the motions of a life that should feel good, but doesn’t.

Meanwhile, you feel disconnected from your own life. You love your baby but sometimes feel strangely detached from them. You’re irritable in a way that scares you. You catastrophize. You replay scenarios in your head at 3am that leave you breathless with worry. You wonder if you’re cut out for this. You wonder if you were ever really you, or if that person is just gone now.

Your relationships have changed. Everything has changed.
